Dr. Se Ung Lee, owner of Shin-il Corporation, forwarded US$150,000 to the KF in March 2001, which will be donated to Indiana University Kokomo(IUK) and Huntingdon College(HC). Under the KF's Designated Donation Program, US$100,000 is being donated to IUK for the support of International studies-related programs, by establishing an International Program Fund, while a donation of US$50,000 will be provided to HC for supporting its Korea/Asia-related programs, by establishing an Affiliation Program Fund. Thanks to Dr. Lee's generous donations, faculty and students will have increased opportunities to understand and learn about Korea, visiting Korea, conducting joint projects with Korean counterparts, and exchange of students and professors.
