The 8th Korea-China Forum for the Future which will be held from June 1 -2 in Kyungju, has been co-organized by the Korea Foundation and the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs (President: Mei Zhaorong), an representative organization affiliated with the Ministry of Chinese Foreign Affairs. This year's forum will focus on such topics as multifaceted international relations surrounding the Korean Peninsula and Sino-U.S. relations under the Bush administration, in addition to discussion on ways to promote cooperations in the field of information technology between the two country. Of note, Korea's Vice Minister of Unification, Mr. Kim Hyung-ki, will present a luncheon speech entitled "The Status of Inter-Korean Relations since the June 15 Declaration".
