A BA degree in Korean will be offered at the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at Ohio State University beginning 2003-04 academic year. Since Prof. Chan-eung Park-Miller has been granted tenure at the rank of Associate Professor at OSU effective 1 October 2002, and Assistant Professor Eun-joo Kim was appointed last September, the Department is ready to establish a degree program in Korean. The two professors are being supported by the Korea Foundation.
