The 11th Korea-Japan Forum will be held at the Gyeongju Hilton Hotel on August 31 - September 3, with the participation of 45 representatives from the two countries, under the co-sponsorship of the Korea Foundation and Japan Center for International Exchange (President: Yamamoto Tadashi). This year's forum will focus on such topics Socio-Political Impact of Population Movements and Generational Changes in Korea and Japan, Changing Economic Environment in Northeast Asia and Future of Korea-Japan Economic Cooperation, and Coping with North Korea's Nuclear Development and Prospects for Korea-Japan Cooperation, Changes in Security Situation in Northeast Asia and Prospects of Korea-US, US-Japan Alliance, in addition to Promoting Exchange and Cooperation for 40th Anniversary of Normalization of Korea-Japan Diplomatic Relations in 2005.
