The 10th Korea-China Forum for the Future

The 10th Korea-China Forum for the Future will be held at Shinyang Park Hotel in Gwangju, on June 13-14, under the co-sponsorship of the Korea Foundation(President: Kwon In Hyuk) and the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs(President: Lu Qiutian). Representatives from the government, legislature, business, media, cultural and academic spheres from both countries will discuss "Political and economic situation in Korea and China", "Peace on the Korean Peninsula and North Korea Nuclear Issues", "Economic Cooperation between Korea and China", "Regional Cooperation in Northeast Asia" and "Promoting Social and Cultural Exchanges between Korea and China". This year's delegation from Korea will consist of 21 members including National Assemblymen Kim Deog-ryong and Kwon Young-ghil; Han Tae-kyu, Chancellor of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security; Nahm Choong-gu, Director of the Institute 21 for Peace Studies; Han Yong-sup, President of the Research Institute on National Security Affairs, National Defense University. Twelve distinguished representatives including Wang Yiming, Vice President of Academy of Macroeconomic Research; Zhang Ruijie, Former Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka and Cai Fangbai, President of Association of Former Diplomats of China will join the Forum from the Chinese side.
