The 6th Korea-France Forum
The 6th Korea-France Forum will be held at the Institut Français des Relations Internationales in Paris, on June 27-28, under the co-sponsorship of the Korea Foundation(President: Kwon In Hyuk) and the Institut Français des Relations Internationales(President: Thierry de Montbrial).
Representatives from the government, legislature, business, media, cultural and academic spheres from both countries will discuss “International Actors and the Korean Peninsula”, “The Future of Asia-Pacific Regional Architecture”, “Economic Cooperation between Korea and France”, “Evaluation of the Bilateral Ties between Korea and France”, “The Future of the Constitutional Treaty and the European Union”.
This year’s delegation from Korea will consist of 19 members including National Assemblymen Song Young-gil and Kim Moon-soo; Yoo Jung-hwan, Professor, Cheongju University; Han Suk-hee, Research Professor, Yonsei University; Kim Chang-su, Director of U.S. Studies, Korea Institute for Defense Analyses; Kim Tae-ho, Professor, Hallym University; Cho Dong-young, Executive Vice President, Renault Samsung Motors; Yu Gi-na, Film Critic.
About 20 distinguished representatives including Hubert Védrine, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of France; André Santini, President of the Parliamentary Group for Friendship between France and Korea; Hervé Ladsous, Director for Asia and Oceania, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Marc Perrin de Brichambaut, Director for Strategic Affairs, Ministry of Defense will join the Forum from the French side.
