The 6th Korean Studies Workshop for Japanese Secondary School Teachers
The 6th Korean Studies Workshop for Japanese Secondary School Teachers, co-hosted by the Foundation and the Japan Foundation and implemented by Seoul National University, will be held from October 26 to November 9. Eighteen participants from Japan will have an opportunity to enhance their understanding of Korea.
The workshop program includes lectures on various topics about Korea, visits to Korean secondary schools, as well as visits to Korean families. Participants will also visit Korean cultural and historical sites such as Buyeo, Andong and Gyeongju, the ancient capital of Silla. The annual Korean Studies Workshop for Japanese Secondary School Teachers has been effective and is considered to be a highly value-added program since the knowledge gained by teachers has easily been multiplied when they teach their students.
