The 6th Korean Studies Workshop for Chinese Secondary School Educators
The 6th Korean Studies Workshop for Chinese Secondary School Teachers, co-sponsored by the Foundation and the Chinese Ministry of Education, will run October 18 to 27. Hankuk University of Foreign Studies' Center for International Area Studies will implement the program for thirty participants from China who are eager to learn about Korea.
The program will include lectures, visits to Korean secondary schools, and the opportunity to experience diverse aspects of Korean arts and culture. Participants will also visit historic Korean cultural sites in Seoul and Gyeongju, the ancient capital of Silla. This annual workshop is expected to have far-reaching effects, since the teachers will pass on to their students the knowledge they have gained through this experience.
