The 7th Korea-Russia Forum

The 7th Korea-Russia Forum will be held at the Diplomatic Academy in Moscow from March 27 to 28, co-organized by the Korea Foundation (President: Kwon In-hyuk) and the Diplomatic Academy of the Foreign Ministry (President: Yury Fokin). Distinguished Korean and Russian representatives from government, legislature, business, media, science & technology, and the cultural and academic sectors will discuss "Security and Stabilization on the Korean Peninsula," "Korea-Russia Cooperation: Economy, Trade, Science and Technology," and "Cooperation in Cultural and Humanitarian Spheres." This year's delegation from Korea will consist of 16 members, including Yu Myung-hwan, Vice Minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade; National Assemblymen Chang Young-dal and Lee Hwa-young; Lee Se-ung, Chairman of the Board, Seoul Arts Center; Lee In-ho, Distinguished Professor, Myongji University; Kim Seok-hwan, Editorial Writer, Joongang Daily; Kwon Won-soon, Professor, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies; Sung Weon-yong, Research Fellow, Korea Transport Institute. From the Russian side, 29 distinguished representatives will participate including A.Y Alekseev, Deputy Foreign Minister D.M. Mezentsev., Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council; L.I Tyan., Deputy of the State Duma; A.V. Torkunov Rector, Moscow State Institute of International Relations; V.A. Medvedev., Adviser, Gorbachev Foundation, A.VKatichev., Deputy Chief of Division, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade; K.B Pulikovsky., Director, Federal Service for Supervision of Environment, Technology and Nuclear Management of the RF; N.F. Bugai State Counselor, Ministry of Regional Development.
