Mr. Rafic Khoury, Editor-in-Chief of the Al-Anwar newspaper in Lebanon will visit Korea from June 27 to July 3, by invitation of the Korea Foundation.

Founded in 1943, Al Anwar is one of the leading newspapers in Lebanon. Also, it is one of the largest publishing houses in the Arab world. As Editor-in-Chief of the Al Anwar Mr. Rafic, is interested in Korean foreign policy issues and national unification and international problems. So his first visit to Korea is expected to provide the guest a good opportunity to gain a more in-depth understanding of Korea's foreign policy and related international issues.

During his stay in Korea, he will visit the Journalists Association of Korea and the Korea Press Foundation, the Korea Times daily newspaper, The Sejong Institute, and the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KEIP) to discuss ways to promote cooperation in the fields of foreign policy and international issues affecting Korea and Lebanon. He will also visit the National Museum of Korea, the DMZ, cultural and historic sites in Gyeongju, and tour the industrial facilities of Hyundai Heavy Industry and SK Energy in Ulsan
