The Korea Foundation hosts the 23rd Korea Foundation Forum at Diamond Hall, 22nd floor, the Seoul Plaza Hotel on Wednesday, April 7. In this Forum, Dr. John J. Hamre, President & CEO, Center for Strategic and International Studies(CSIS) will give a speech on ‘After the First Year, Where is Obama's Asia Policy Heading?'
 

Dr. Hamre has been serving as the President and the CEO of the CSIS since 2000. He is also working for the Obama's administration as the Chairman of the Defense Policy Board.  
 

The Korea Foundation Forum lecture series was established with the purpose of raising awareness in Korea of current global issues, by organizing public lectures of eminent persons from all over the world. Launched in January 2008, the Korea Foundation Forum has already had the opportunity to host the world-renowned figures such as Mr. George Herbert Walker Bush, the former President of the United States, Mr. Koïchiro Matsuura, Director-General of UNESCO, Mr. Theo Sommer, Editor-in-Chief of Die Zeit, Mr. Colin Powell, Former US Secretary of State and Mr. John Howard, former Prime Minister of Australia.
