[Invitation] Dr. Viktor Hermann, Deputy Chief Director of Salzburger Nachrichten Daily Newspaper, Austria
Dr. Viktor Hermann, Deputy Chief Editor and Foreign Editor of Austria’s Salzburger Nachrichten daily newspaper, will visit Korea from March 28 to April 3 by invitation of the Korea Foundation.
The Salzburger Nachrichten is one of the nation’s leading newspapers, established in 1945, with a current daily circulation of 110,000 copies. Since Dr. Hermann is interested in Korean politics, economic development, society and education, his visit is expected to contribute to enhance his newspaper’s coverage on Korea by experiencing Korea first-hand and meeting with his counterparts and other people of interest.
During his stay, he will visit the Joong Ang Daily and the Korea Times to gain a better understanding of the Korean press. He will also visit the Sejong Institute, Seoil Middle School and Inha University to meet with professionals and discuss inter-Korean relations, Korea FTA issues and Korean education. He will also visit various museums and sites to experience Korea’s past and present.
