Korean Studies Workshops for Southeast Asian Educators in 2009, co-hosted by the Foundation and the Graduate School of International Studies of Ewha Womans University, will be held from August 24 to September 6.

16 participants from Southeast Asia will have an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of Korea during their staying in Korea.

The workshop program includes lectures on various topics of Korean Studies such as Korean history, culture, politics, economy and education, as well as visits to cultural heritages and historical sites in Seoul, Gyong-ju, An-dong, etc.
 
The workshop is designed to enhance mutual understanding between the people of Korea and Southeast Asian states by inviting a number of educators to visit Korea, and encouraging them to share their experiences with local people upon their return.
