New e-Books Library Service Now Available for Readers

  • Date Jul 02, 2013
The Korea Foundation has launched a new e-Books Library service (http://ebook.kf.or.kr) so that readers at home and abroad can easily access our published materials through not only personal computers but also with mobile devices, including smartphones and tablet/pad devices.

The e-Books Library currently offers some 70 materials, such as: 1) Koreana, a quarterly magazine on the diverse aspects of Korea’s arts and culture that is available in nine languages, 2) KOREA FOCUS, an English-language journal (monthly webzine) that features commentaries and essays on Korea’s current affairs, related to such subjects as the politics, business, society, and culture of Korea, 3) “Korean Culture Series,” informational books in English about various themes of Korean culture for general readers and Korea-related students, and 4) selected materials on Korean Studies and Korea’s public diplomacy initiatives. Moreover, additional content will be continuously uploaded and made accessible to readers, in line with the Korea Foundation’s efforts to disseminate a wealth of information about Korea and its culture.

Users can easily access the e-Books Library service by simply clicking the link on the Korea Foundation main website (kf.or.kr). The individual e-book materials published by the Korea Foundation - Koreana, KOREA FOCUS, “Korean Culture Series” - can also be purchased and downloaded from Apple’s iBooks or Amazon.com.
