Workshop for Korean Language Educators in Central Asia
April 2-3, 2008
About 40 Korean language professors from major universities in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan attended a workshop to discuss various issues, like the development of a Korean language curriculum for Central Asia.

The Fourth Korean Film Festival features a variety of Korean movies from contemporary to independent works and classics.

A touring photo exhibition, which is being shown in Seoul, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles, featured photo works by contemporary Korean and American artists on urban environmental themes.

Second Korea-New Zealand Residency Exchange Program

Under the program, artists from Korea and New Zealand visit each other’s country for cultural and artistic interaction, and to art works during their stay.

Fourth RAUK Workshop

The workshop organized by the Russian Association of Universities Offering Korean Studies Programs (RAUK) was attended by Korean Studies professors and researchers from universities in Russia. The participants discussed the status of Korean Studies departments, textbook development, and ways to promote Korean Studies in Russia.
