Koreana:
Introduction to Korea’s Culture and Arts
First issued in 1987 as an English-language edition, the Koreana quarterly journal on Korea’s culture and arts is currently published in eight languages: English, Chinese, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Japanese, and German. In particular, it seeks to introduce the international community to Korea’s traditional culture, historical artifacts, places of interest, noteworthy artists and artisans, literary figures, selected short stories, and various aspects of contemporary Korean art. In recognition of its in-depth information on Korean culture and art, Koreana has been designated an “Outstanding Magazine” in 2008, as well as 2007, by the Korea Magazine Association, for the overall quality of its features, narrative content, design, photography, cover, and production.

Korea Focus:
Window to Current Affairs of Korea
First published in 1993, Korea Focus is the Korea Foundation’s representative English-language journal on the current affairs of Korea, including matters related to Korea’s politics, diplomacy, economy, business, society, and culture, as well as inter-Korean relations. It serves as a window on recent developments in Korea by translating selected commentaries, articles, and essays from leading Korean newspapers, academic journals, and print media, which express a diverse range of public opinion. Korea Focus includes monthly editions in online format (www. koreafocus.or.kr) and quarterly print editions. The print edition, which is a compilation of selected content from the online versions, is distributed to various libraries, research institutes, and subscribers. E-mail delivery of Korea Focus online content is available to users following a simple e-mail registration.
