Performance Tour of Africa and the Middle East
July 9-27, 2009
On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of he establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and Tunisia, a B-boy team and the nonverbal performance Cookin’ rom Korea toured three countries in Africa and the Middle East to perform at prestigious festivals and landmark theaters.

Korean Studies Workshop for Australasian Educators
July 13-26, 2009
A group of 24 secondary school teachers of history and social studies, educational administrators, and textbook writers from Australia and New Zealand attended an informational workshop and had an opportunity to acquire an ive understanding about Korea, in an effort to enhance Korea-related education in the Australasia region.

An opportunity to attend informational lectures on Korea and visit historic and cultural sites was provided to 18 European secondary school teachers of history and social studies and educational administrators.

Special Screening of Latin American Films

Performance of Theater Seoul Factory in India

Theater Seoul Factory participated in the Hindu Metroplus Theatre Festival, in India, where it staged “Medea and Its Double,” a Korean adaptation of the Greek tragedy “Medea.”

Exhibition of Buenos Aires, Argentina

This special photo exhibition featured 30 works of Argentine photographer Limay Uribe Ruberti, based on themes of Descansos (relaxation), Relatos de Ciudad (stories of a city), and Secretos de Ciudad (secrets of a city), which depict the daily life of Buenos Aires residents from a unique perspective.
