Korean Studies Workshop for Russian Educators

Social studies teachers and educators at Russian middle and high schools visit Korea to attend lectures on a broad range of subjects, including Korea’s politics, economy, society, and culture. They also visit Korean schools to compare the educational systems of the two countries and increase mutual understanding.

KF Gallery Open Stage V ‘India ― Then, Now and Forever’

To celebrate the “Year of Korea-India Cultural Exchange” in 2011, the Korea Foundation invites Mallika Sarabhai, a leading Indian choreographer and dancer, and her contemporary dance group for performances in Korea. Sarabhai, well known as a social activist seeking to advance women’s rights and social education in India, also gives a lectures.

Percussion Group ‘HATA’ Performs in the Netherlands

The Korean percussion group HATA participates in the SIVO International Folklore Festival, in Odoorn, Netherlands, to perform traditional music and dance, including samulnori (percussion quartet) and janggochum (drum dance).

Novus Quartet Concert Tour of Central America

Novus Quartet and pianist Kim Tae-hyoung, fast-rising stars in the classical music circle in Korea, participate in the 21st Credomatic International Music Festival in Costa Rica, and give more performances in El Salvador and Panama.

Nottle’s Collaborative Project with Tony Yap Company

The 2nd KF Global Seminar
