March 2012 KF Activities

Korean Artists Participate in Perth International Arts Festival

Works by two Korean artists, Choi Jeong-hwa and Choi Woo-ram, are exhibited at the Perth International Arts Festival. Inaugurated in 1953 and held annually in Western Australia, the festival is one of Australia’s longest-running cultural events.

Touring Exhibition of Korean Artifacts in Germany

This touring exhibition ― “Korea Rediscovered!” ― features 250 artifacts including 116 works of Korean art and artifacts selected from the Korean collections at 10 German museums. This is the second of the exhibition’s four showings at leading museums in Germany, which has been underway since 2011.

East Asian Contemporary Art Exhibition Nostalgia

Nostalgia, the East Asian Contemporary Art Exhibition features works by 14 artists from Korea, China, and Japan. As part of an ongoing trilateral cultural shuttle program, the exhibition is being presented in China.
