Korean Artists Participate in A 13

Works by three Korean artists – JeonJoon-ho, Moon Kyung-won, and Yang Hye-kyu (Yang Haegue) – are on display at the 13th edition of A, one of the world’s largest exhibitions of contemporary artheld once every five years in Kassel, Germany. Kim Sun-jung is also participating as a curator.

Korean Program at Concordia Language Villages

Concordia Language Villages, one of the most extensive foreign language and culture immersion camps in the U.S., launches a Korean program offering classes in the Korean language, taekwondo, samulnori(traditional percussion quartet), archery, pottery-making, and filmmaking.

Quiz on Korea

Twenty-seven Korean embassies hold quiz contests on Korea-related subjects in an effort to broaden interests in Korea amidst the growing popularity of Korean pop culture around the world. The first-place winners from a preliminary round in each country will compete in a final round of “Quiz on Korea” that will be broadcast by KBS.
