The Association of Korean Studies in Colombia will be holding the 2nd Korean Studies Conference at EAFIT University from Sep 24 to 25. The association was established in 2011 under the leadership of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Colombia and Korean Studies experts in Colombia to promote friendship between the two countries and to train more Korean studies experts in Colombia. The conference was held for the first time at Sergio Arboleda University in 2012. The conference, which is now in its second year, will address the theme of “education and innovation in Korea.” Around 30 scholars from Korea and Colombia will be at the conference to present papers and engage in debate.
