The 47 diplomats from 44 countries who have participated in the Foundation’s Korean Language and Culture Learning program over the past three months will be recognized for their earnest efforts at a ceremony to be held at the Institute of International Education of Kyunghee University on May 29, 2014. Representatives of the Korea Foundation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Institute of International Education at Kyunghee University, as well as the embassies of each participants’ home country, will be on hand to congratulate the diplomats for their successful completion of this intensive learning program and to offer them encouragement to actively apply their knowledge of Korea in their diplomatic careers. During the ceremony, certificates of completion and awards for outstanding achievements will be presented, together with a viewing of program-activity videos and a personal account by one of the participant diplomats about the program experiences. The ceremony will be followed by a luncheon.
