This music festival event brings leading jazz performers from Europe and Asia to the heart of Seoul for your listening pleasure. Since 2011, the Korean Foundation Culture Center has undertaken concerted efforts to make culture more accessible to the residents of Seoul by offering the performances of artists from around the world at the annual KF Festival, which takes place at the Cheonggyecheon outdoor stage in the middle of Seoul. From this year forward, the festival’s new name is the “KF Cheonggyecheon World Music Festival,”which will hopefully attract even more audience members with a program that features jazz groups from a number of countries in Europe and Asia. The festival event includes ten concert performances, which are being held at 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. during the three-day weekend on October 2–4, 2014. Jazz groups and talented performers from Europe (Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Austria), and such other countries as Israel, Japan, and Malaysia, will take the stage, together with the accompaniment of Korean artists. Make the most of the onset of the autumn season by attending this jazz festival in downtown Seoul.
