5th Korean Week Event Held at University of Málaga in Spain

5th Korean Week Event Held at University of
Malaga in Spain

University students and the general public are invited to participate in the Korean Week events, which will be held in October at the University of Málaga, located in the resort city of Málaga in southern Spain. A week’s worth of cultural activities, including a Korean film workshop; demonstrations to introduce calligraphy, tea ceremonies, Hanbok, and Korean food; and an essay contest about Korean literature, are being offered to broaden awareness of Korea and to help promote the university’s Korean language program. With its ongoing study programs related to Korea, the University of Málaga is playing an important role in raising the profile of Korean Studies within Spain. In addition to the Korean Week events, the Foundation is supporting the Korea-related programs in various ways, such as dispatching guest professors to teach the Korean language to local students.
