On April 22, 1965, a group of 35 Korean families that included 95 individuals, arrived by boat at the Paraguayan capital of Asuncion, thus becoming the first Korean immigrants to Paraguay. Fifty years thereafter, the KF and the Embassy of Paraguay in Korea commemorate this occasion with On the Way to the Land with No Evil exhibition at the KF Gallery. The exhibition features the works of Hernan Miranda, who was introduced to Korean audiences through the Korea International Art Fair. Through the unique Paraguayan cultural perspective, the exhibition tells the story of those Koreans who have spent the past halfcentury building a new life on the opposite side of the globe.
