The KF invited prominent figures of global media concerns to visit Korea on May 17-23. The group of 31 journalists and media executives from 26 countries visited Korea’s leading media firms, met with influential figures of the Korean press, and attended the “Korean Unification as International Public Goods and the Role of the International Media” session that was hosted by the KF as part of the Jeju Forum, where they shared in the vision of Korean unification. The session also included an extensive debate about the global benefits of Korean unification and the role that overseas media outlets should play in reuniting the two Koreas, as well as a discussion of how unification can contribute to the stability and security of the global community.
