  • Steps of Greatness to Freedom
    and Peace: Korea-Germany
    Exchange Exhibition
  • An exhibition to celebrate the 25th anniversary of German reunification coupled with a visit to Korea by high-level German officials, the proceedings were intended to bolster friendly relations between the two nations. The exhibition will compare the two nations’ efforts to achieve unification, exhibit symbols of German division and reunification, and provide a chance to reflect on Korea’s own reunification process and the steps required for success.

  • Ambassador Stephen Sestanovich Visits Korea

  • Lecture Series on Korea’s Culture
    and Arts for International Residents
  • Launched on October 15, the KF’s lecture series on Korean residential architecture for foreigners will conclude on November 7. Attendees will learn about the traits of Joseon-era residences in Seoul for each social class (i.e., royalty, nobility, and commoners), examine the lifestyles of their inhabitants, and take a comparative look at the variations seen in modernized forms of Korean architecture. Lectures provided by various experts (11/5) will be supplemented by field trips (11/3, 7).
