Happy Chuseok Together

‘HAPPY CHUSEOK TOGETHER’ GUERRILLA CAMPAIGN

On September 29, the Education and Promotion Team held its guerrilla campaign “Happy Chuseok Together” on the streets of Seoul’s Insa-dong area. Launched to promote traditional games to both Koreans and the international community, the campaign drew over 100 participants. People of all ages and backgrounds joined on the last day of the Chuseok holiday to play yut nori, a traditional board game; jaegi chagi, a form of Korean shuttlecock; and ddakji chigi, a game similar to pogs involving disks made from folded paper. The meaningful day also helped promote the KFVN and Education and Promotion Team. Hopefully, humble gifts of yanggaeng, a snack of redbean jelly, and a traditional confectionary called yeot helped make everyone’s Chuseok an enjoyable one.
